We are also running the first ever Caniteering event on the Saturday for those who are interested in pioneering this new sport. Click here for MORE INFO and here for ENTRY FORMS.

Haldon Forest Park lies just south of Exeter and is a haven for birds of prey and home to over 30 species of butterfly. 48km of trails are available, 5km of which will be set out for the CaniX. The first half of the course meanders down through the trees on well maintained footpaths. The second half leads deeper into the forest on narrow tracks with a gradual climb back to the finish.

The visitor centre was opened at the beginning of 2006. There is a cafe on site with toilets including shower facilities. Charges for the car park are £1 for half a day £2 for the whole day.

There is a Play Trail for all-abilities with traditional and natural play features, whilst the Sensory Trail at Mamhead has been specially designed to stimulate the senses of visitors.

Look forward to seeing you and your pooch.
