CaniX has been allocated its own free parking area close to the start and finish lines. This is alongside the Look Out Discovery Centre where you will find all the amenities (toilets, excellent cafe, gift shop, interactive science exhibition for all the family and children's play area). Wellington Cycle Centre (to the right of the entrance to the Discovery Centre) have a hose pipe and will charge 50p per muddy pup if conditions dictate. The Look Out Discovery Centre has been voted 14th out of 50 by the Independent in it's "The 50 Best Spring Days Out in Britain". A forest trail (5km and 2.5km) has been set within the 2,600 acres of woodland. The course is mainly on well drained forest tracks with some sections of grassy footpaths. There are no major climbs but several short ups and downs to test your resolve! There are no water crossings to negotiate, but when wet there are plenty of puddles. There will be lots happening on the start and finish lines as they are only metres apart. Look forward to seeing you and your pooch.
