We plan to hold around 30-40 events each season. You only have to enter 3 events to cover the cost of your membership, and if you enter the whole season of events this would represent a saving of £420 - £560. Some functions may only be open to members and other events may be added with concessions for members. To enter an event as a member your membership must be valid on the day of the event. CaniX Training Groups including insurance cover CaniX Training Groups meet regularly all over the UK. At these informal meets, every member is covered by £5 million third party public liability insurance and member to member cover. The Training Group must be offically recognised by CaniX UK, have published training runs and all participants must hold a current CaniX membership. Join our Facebook and/or Twitter groups where members chat about all aspects of CaniX. Here you can post problems that other members may be able to help you overcome and share your experiences. NB These forums are moderated - posts considered 'off topic' will be removed - any offensive posts, advertising or negative publicity will result in a ban. CaniX UK are negotiating with stores to gain discounts for our members. The table below shows the stores currently involved with the programme. The volume of sales from CaniX UK members dictates the size of discounts - the more you buy the higher the discount. Discount codes can be found on the back of your membership card.
As the membership grows, it is hoped that we can use the combined buying power to obtain deals for members on everyday items like dog food, biscuits and treats. Membership runs from season to season (beginning in September). If you join mid season your membership will run until the end of the season in which you join (August). If you join between April-August your membership will cover you until August the following year. To enter an event as a member your membership must be valid on the day of the event.
(*) Family membership is for two adults (spouse/partner) and up to four children (under 17, residing in the same household). (**) Discount for current members who renew on or before 30 June.
